I decided to make a graphic representation of my core philosophy. I do my best to live by this and share it with others when asked (and sometimes unsolicited).

I am deeply inspired by Marianne Williamson, particularly on the subjects of love and forgiveness.

This philosophy is becoming clearer to me as I get older and wiser. There’s nothing new or surprising about the ideas. Others have said them before. But I’m struck by the fact that many people I come across stumble over the 3rd part– Stop doing, having, being what you hate.

I don’t know where it comes from– perhaps a believe that you have to take the bad with the good, or only things that are difficult and painful are valuable.

Whatever the source, I believe that everything that we hate, dread, or makes us miserable, that is self-inflicted or perpetuated should be stopped. Seems obvious, but not always easy to extricate ourselves from the beliefs that keep us there. You might need help.

I can help.
